Are you saying that it is completely unrealistic for Boyle to beat Lex Cath? Boyle has made huge strides since that game. I thought you of all members would see the ability of a 2 seed to upset a 1 seed.

 

It's unrealistic to pretend that it wouldn't be a huge upset. When the best team you have beaten all year is East Jessamie ... it is hard to see you going into Lex. Catholic and winning.

 

I'm not being a jerk (this time), everything I said in the last post is 100% true. I think it is great that BC fans are so rabid but to think it wouldn't be a huge upset is just not looking at the facts of the season.

 

I'll say right now that if Boyle County goes into Lexington and wins it is probably the single biggest upset in the state this year. Please don't pretend that all 2 seeds are equal either.

BC hasn't really been ranked above BE since week 5 or 6. Not to mention Bullitt East is the team that started BC on their two year slide, so nope that's not it. I think your team will win tonight but to think you will win the state when you haven't beaten a team with a winning record all year is a joke. There is a huge difference between hoping and expecting.

 

Like I said I don't have a problem with their team, players or coaches. I just get a kick out of unrealitic fans and people who base their opinions on what happened years ago. As a fan I like to think BE has a decent shot at getting to the title game ... as a realistic person I realize there is just as good of a chance that we will lose tonight.

 

BC is like Mike Tyson after Buster Douglas beat him. No one is scared just to step in the ring with you guys anymore.

You guys? I'm from western Kentucky, dude ... four hours from Boyle County.

 

Boyle did have a 35-point loss to Henry Clay earlier that season, so it was evident that the Rebels weren't quite what they had been under Smith.
