November 5, 200718 yr I'm slowly becoming in favor of a playoff. SEC & PAC 10 are powerhouses; Big East, Big 12 and Big 10 are on an even keel. Sneak in a few from the non power conferences too. These last couple of years make it hard to not seek a playoff. We currently have a playoff system. Win every game and you have played your way there. That is what makes college football the greatest game on earth. Every week is a playoff. I understand that the best team(s) may not make it to the championship game, but you have got to love the excitement of every week brings. Perfect example: NFL with NE and Indy. Yesterday's game was a great matchup, but it meant nothing except home field. Every knows that both of those teams are going to make the playoffs so in the grand scheme of things, did yesterdays game really mean anything?
November 5, 200718 yr I'd take MAC football over Big11 any day. Big11 is tough to watch... I don't know if I would take the MAC over them....but the Big 11 is drab, and the league in general has formed itself into a little bubble. While it makes it great fodder to talk about how great the top teams in the Big 11 are, no one really knows because they aren't playing much OOC competition, and in conference they are a slower breed than the SEC or Pac 10.
November 5, 200718 yr Yeah right; just another bump in the road of The Bucks national championship quest! :fight: :thumb: I hope you are correct!!! :thumb:

November 6, 200718 yr This Buckeye fan is not taking The Illini lightly... while I will cheer TOSU on like my fellow Buckeye friends in here.. I urge you all to be ready for a battle. Illinois beat one top 5 team this year in Wisconsin... they are looking for a huge win to give the program some momentum.

I agree 100%....I hate OSU everyone knows that. That said, they absolutely deserve the #1 ranking....I am simply hoping that normalcy reigns supreme.
