I live in Pikeville, and it's the NFL for me!

Well crap...:irked:

You're not helping my theory!:D

I think it would be interesting to see the geography of those who have voted, like the polls on ESPN.com. My hypothesis is that those who favor the NFL are generally those who live closer to the teams themselves, in this case those in Northern KY. For the rest of us across the state, were probably split between college and high school just because that is what is closest to us and maybe means more to us.
I'm as "northern" as you can get; and although college and pro games have they're own unique qualities, nothing beats Friday night under the lights.

It's all about hometown--friends, and neighbors--and connecting to your alma mater. It's up close and personal. It's an atmosphere that can't be duplicated.

I Love College Football and prefer it many times over the NFL. Any NCAA sport to me is much more enjoyable to watch that any pro sport.

College Football and College Basketball are by far my favorites.

Another favorite is Friday night High School Football!

:lol::lol: For you "poll", I live in NEKY and prefer college and h.s. over the NFL. (I am approx. 2 hrs. from Cincy)

I like when Louisville plays on Thursday because I either go or catch that one on TV when they are on the road....which lets me soak in a ton of football at home on Saturday....you can't do that when the Cards have a home game on Saturday.

I've heard some discussions on this, but I wanted to know which Football day is your favorite and why. You can use any kind of reasoning you would like, just let us know why you feel the way you do.

I'll go ahead and start by saying Saturday. I just love college football, and while I played high school ball and I watch the NFL every Sunday, nothing beats a great college football game.

I couldn't agree with you more. I go watch high school games when I can and occasionally catch a Bucs game, but nothing beats the atmosphere of the college game. Since the Bucs and USF share Raymond James, I've been able to compare them, and there is definitely a difference. From the tailgate parties to the crowd intensity during the game, the college game is much more exciting.
