Life is about choices. Here is one of mine this week. I have to choose 1 of 3 first-round playoff games to do on the radio. They are:

Bethlehem (4-6) hosting KCD, Class A first round. Bethlehem came from behind in the second half earlier this year to beat KCD and their fullback, Brian Cruse. The winner will likely advance to play Holy Cross at Holy Cross in Round 2.

Bardstown (4-6) hosting Washington County, Class 2A, first round. Bardstown pasted Washington 42-0 earlier this year. Winner will likely play Danville at Danville in Round 2.

Nelson County (4-6) on the road at Greenwood, Class 6A, first round. Interesting game. Greenwood is the 1 seed, Nelson the 4, but Nelson beat Greenwood 53-19 earlier this season. Nelson had been on a nice roll, but has dropped two tough games to John Hardin and Bullitt East to end the year. Winner will advance to the winner of Meade County/North Hardin in Round 2.

So where do I go??

I would prefer you stay in town, but that's for more selfish reasons in deference to my job ... but here's how I break it down:

I don't anticipate either of the local games to be close, but Bethlehem will probably have more trouble than Bardstown. The Nelson-G'wood game stands to be better, because you have to figure that other than the Bowling Green debacle, that was the Gators' worst outing, and they're bound to play better. Nelson Co. is the wild card, because while the offense always shows up, the defense can be sketchy at times (but has improved dramatically).

To be honest, I'm tempted to go to BG myself. Still not sure how I'm going to play it.

Greenwood - Nelson get my vote, previous meeting makes this one interesting

Btown will roll again so not much drama there

Something else....Dixie-CovCath!

Something else Dayton / Bellevue

CCH-Dixie

You NKY-ites need to understand that Hearsay and company are not from our area.

Dayton - Bellevue will be the best playoff game of the year!!!

Meade County vs North Hardin would be a good game.

Meade County vs North Hardin would be a good game.

You don't really believe that, do you? Was it the way NH hung close at home losing 31-0?

I am going to be out of town this week and just wanted to listen to the game.

Somewhere else Lloyd / HC it will be a good game!
