I've watched a little of the senior Spartans this year. Their backfield is very good. It's a good combination of speed and power.

What are the weights or ages for the various divisions?

Pee Wee's 8

Midget's 9

Junior's 10 & 11

Senior's 12 & 13

I think this is what they are however, I never can rememer weight's as it has

changed over the year's.

For the age, isn't it basically:

Pee Wee - under 8

Midgets - under 10

Junions - under 12

Seniors - under 14.

Not sure but I think one of those backs is Jake True who is in the 8th grade at Highlands.

Pretty good representation from Spartans. Congrats to all teams but especiallly those guys.

Yep. I believe #28. The kid is HUGE. I assume he's got a cousin or brother that plays on the line who's taller, but skinny. Any reason he plays for the Spartans instead of the Ft. Thomas league?

Back? Huge? I would venture a guess that the weight limit to carry the ball in the FTJFL has something to do with it! He would have had to block in the FTJFL.

I know for a fact the Pee Wee's is 8 and some 7 year olds.

The Midgets is 8

The Juniors 9 - 10

Senior's 12 - 13 and something about they can not be 13 at a specified date.

So, do kids play only one year of Midgets?

And do 11 year olds have to sit out? :D

I didn't realize there was a weight limit at the senior level too.

I said I would get it wrong:

Starter's 5, 6 & 7

Pee Wee's 8

Midget's 9

Juniors 10 & 11

Seniors 12 & 13

Yes all groups have a weight limit. The reason for Midget's breaking up into the Pee Wee's and Midget's is that we had so many kid's in that age group and at times some kid's did not get to play.

He just moved to Highlands district. The taller kid is his brother I believe, Nick. He is in 7th grade at HMS. Both kids will help out the 7th and 8th grade basketball teams once they lose the football legs and get their basketball legs under em. Good luck this weekend.

Are these games on Saturday?

What are the ticket prices?

I might try to take these games in.
