Boyle vs. Dunbar

Featured Replies

No one has started a thread on this one. (Maybe from lack of interest, I don't know)

Both head into this with subpar years. Should be interesting as Dunbar's line is much bigger than Boyle's and that has frustrated the Rebels the last 2 years.

If someone wants to add a poll that would be great. :thumb:

Here's a Link to the Advocate Messeger article about the game:

Senior night for the Bulldogs. Hopefully, the good Dunbar plays on Friday and the Dawgs head into the playoffs with a win.

Coach Pardue wonders which Dunbar team will be waiting, well I would like to know which Boyle team will show up. If both teams shows up to play some football, it should be a great game. My faith is still with the Rebels and think they will pull this one out in the end by a TD. Go Rebels!!!!!!!!!!

Boyle has looked good the past two weeks! Defense looked really good last week. This is a good team and they will be making some noise in the playoffs!!! Boyle wins this one by atleast 2TDs.

Should be a very close game....I like Dunbar on Senior Night 31-24.

There is no doubt that Boyle County will have problems with Dunbar's speed, if Dunbar can properly utilize it. Trust me, Boyle County can and will stop the dive plays. Dunbar needs to devise a scheme to get the ball downfield or on the perimeter in order to utilize their superior team speed. Problem is, I haven't seen them do that yet this year.

Dunbar is turnover plague. The winner of this game will be the team with the fewest turnovers.

I agree that turnovers will be key, but I am going with Boyle on this one, but it will be close.
