Beer, wine, bourbon...

You can get a prescription to that stuff??? Sweet.

have the same problem. What i take is Clonidine. It will have you knocked out in 30 minutes and it isnt addictive. The one side affect i get is dry mouth, but it is worth taking.

Stop arguing with GT!!!:jump:

Benadryl.... Benadryl.... Benadryl... or Diphenmydramine which is Benadryl... any of those expensive brand name "Tylenol" sleep aides.. have Tylenol and what? Benadryl in it...

I actually work with a pharmacist who's uncle a Cincinnatian invented Benadryl.

What's sweet is you don't need one. ;)

Stay away from prescriptions, you're better off in the long run without them.

Not sure how else to "fix" the problem.

Wake up at about 7 AM each day and you will be able to sleep at 12 or 1.

Could be something as simple as changing your diet slightly.

Are you a coffee or Coke drinker? Do you eat anything late in the evening?

Do you exercise regularly?

The thing is, I LOVE to sleep but I just can't seem to do it. The earliest I wake up during the week is 8:00 AM & that is on Fridays, Saturdays & sometimes Sundays. I wake up at 8 AM on a Friday & Still can't go to sleep until 2:00-2:30 that night knowing that I'm supposed to be getting up at 8 that Saturday morning. It sucks.

I take the generic gel cap sleep aid you get from wal mart or target, that and my paxil for anxiety and that knocks me out, every single night!

Do not drink Coffee. Do take a sip or 2 (literally) of Mt. Dew.

I do eat late at night.

I do not (although I should, especially since I eat late at night) exercise regularly.

Sounds a lot like me before I started working fulltime. Which reminds me it's about bedtime. I used to be awake till 4 or 5 most night. I'm not sure how I got out of it really but it isn't much of a problem anymore.

I'm thinking I have it.

How do the docs decide you have it???
