The young Jackets are flying pretty high right now after defeating arch rival Lynn Camp last Friday. The Jackets are in a 3 way tie for first and they control their destiny as far as the playoffs go. They need a win against former district and traditional rival Everats this week. This will be another dog fight as Evarts is traditionally a grind it out, physical offense. The Jackets D played very physical against the Campers causing several turnovers. The Jacket O righted itself and put up 40 points and over 400 yards in the win. Can the Jackets stop the physical O of Evarts? Can The Moses to Brock Combo stay hot? I think yes to both and see the Jackets on top 42-28.

If Evarts buckles down tight and comes after you, they are a hard team to beat. Last meeting between the two could make for a slobberknocker. Don't underestimate the Wildcats in this one or the physical play they bring on D.

Evarts is on a downslide, Williamsburg appears to be on the upswing. Williamsburg should win if they keep there head in the game, but Williamsburg can't come out playing as though they are satisfied now because they beat Lynn Camp still have lots of games to play. I think Williamsburg will keep their heads on straight though.

I don't anyone should underestimate Evarts......they can bring it when they want to, and they will want to against the Burg.

I have to agree. This was a dangerous team early that hit a slump. Nothing they would like better than to hang one on a team that they have played for decades before they go away. Look for a hard fought game and very little quarter to be given.

the combined record of Evarts 5 victories according to KHSAA is 10-29. And 4 of those wins comes from Pineville. I just have a hard time right now with Evarts, I thought the potential was there at the beggining of the season, but they just haven't showed it when they've played the better teams on their schedule.

Evarts will show up again and will probally come out with a victory. We played well last week againest Cumberland but let a game we controlled through most of it, slip away. At any rate, evarts over the burg. I think that we are far too physical for them.
