So Scott Co. doesn't have a football field?

Scott built/expanded its school building on the site where its football field once was, and that happened not long after Georgetown's field was built so they made an agreement to play there.

The Georgetown field is definitely grass, but it's very good.

If not mistaken it was a agreement between 3 parts in order to get Toyota stadium. Bengals put up some money, Georgetown College upped money and, either the City or Scott Co. schools put forth money also. It was agreed that the Cards would play their games at the college. I think the Cards may have a little more overall team speed than Lincoln has seen. I think the Cards win by 10

This is cut and pasted from their website:

Football Quick Facts

General

Location: Georgetown, KY

Founded: 1787

Enrollment: 1,400

Nickname: Tigers

School Colors: Orange and Black

Stadium: Toyota Stadium

Capacity: 5,000

Surface: Natural Grass

Affiliation: NAIA

Conference: Mid-South

President: Dr. William H. Crouch, Jr. (Wake Forest, '73)

Athletic Director: Eric Ward (Auburn, '83)

Faculty Athletic Representative: Dr. John Blackburn (Westminster College, '67)

I think this is a misprint. I am pretty sure they have the sports turf.

The Patriots are not slow and keep in mind that speed can only hurt you past the line of scrimmage. LC's defense has been stuffing opponents lately.

The Patriots aren't slow, but I wouldn't call them fast either. They are quick up front defensively.

I can't pick Lincoln to win this game with it being played at Scott County. However I am almost sold on the Patriots as a potential Class 5A semifinalist; win tonight and both feet are on the bandwagon!
