Not yet. MRI yesterday, results today. It was pretty devestating news for the kid. He got the other knee last spring.

I truly hate it for that young man...he's a great competitor.

I hope he bounces back and I get to watch him on Saturdays next year.

How did joe's mri turn out?

Not well at all. the acl is torn and he will be out for the season. It hurts me because he is probably the most unselfish kid I've ever seen play.

Today Lynn Camp's junior high was hosting Pineville and Joe was out limping around painting the field up for the younger kids. Truly a class act, is Mr Roskopf.

Just came in from the game. (LC won and plays M'boro in the next round 7th/8th grade.)

Joe was still there and talking with everyone and cutting up quite a bit. His spirits seem fine.

He was having such a great season, he was one of the best ive seen and it was an honor to watch him play the past four years. Tonight is senior night and it hurts me to think how bad he wants to be out there with his team and cant be. Maybe him being on the sideline cheering them on will motivate the players tonight.

I agree with all you state here, but you know lessons we learn from sports are cruel sometimes, life takes strange twists and turns, and we all have to learn to take the good with the bad and enjoy playing the games when we are able to. Joe, like many others before him will be fine and move on.

The way he competed physically on the field allows you to feel for his competitive spirit. He is a true warrior and will be missed for the remainder of the year. But, with his mentality, I am saying his football career is NOT over. Good Luck young man on the next level.

To this young man I know it hurts and the class you have.Your team will keep it going and you can still be part ofit talk with your team and keep there heads up be a coach help them with things they can't see I am sure coach Mitchell would like that keep your head up.I know its hard to understand but football is not life just part of it and GOD has a reason for everything the teams success will still be your success.
