October 21, 200718 yr Night game in Happy Valley won't be much of a challenge? When's the last time OSU won at PSU? 2003 which is two games ago.
October 21, 200718 yr Author Great day for the defense and in the end 8-0 is all that matters. :thumb: Actually it was a good day for the offense as well. Wells was a beast. If not for the two mistakes by Boeckman it would have been a very balanced attack by the Buckeyes.

October 21, 200718 yr The jealousy from the UK fans is unreal. It almost embaresses me to be a UK diehard BBALL fan. They have NO reason what-so-ever to hate on the Bucks. I have been cheerin for UK football all year but i'm not going to anymore. Very glad to see Coach Meyer end their big bowl hopes. Had the same thing with UL. I pulled for the Cards, but to listen to their fans after the little success they had was unbearable. All ya heard was elite program, National title, Heisman trophy, gonna walk all over UK, I had enough and became a UL detracter. I see these UK posters leaning in that direction. Thats too bad. They should be enjoying the success their team is having, without the comparisons or bashing especially the likes of an OSU. Come on UK fans don't fall into that trap the UL people did. Be better than that, cheer for your team at this very high time in their history. Don't stick your tongues out at the "Big Boys", its ugly.

Ohio State is one of the greatest football programs of all time. How many good teams has Kentucky had? Not near as many as Ohio State. I am glad to see UK win and everything, and Andre's talk with the Heisman. But just because they are having a good year and Ohio State and other teams are ranked ahead of UK who are in " weaker confrences " don't bash them.
October 21, 200718 yr Next week the Buckeyes get a real TEST!! :ylsuper: I wouldn't call next week a real test. Yeah Penn State is a better team than the teams they have played this year. But Penn State is definitely nothing special. These Big 10 teams are set up perfect for OSU. They are slow, with no real good offenses in the league. So their defense is going to shut down everyone then, and the offense is good enough to atleast win the games for them with all the opportunitys the defense gives them... OSU first and ONLY REAL TEST they will have in the regular season this year will be Michigan. A team who lost to a 1AA school. However that will be a team that will give OSU problems because unlike the rest of the Big 10 they have an offense. And will make OSU offense actually have to go out and score, because OSU defense wont dominate like they have been...

They have 4 very tough games left. Wisconsin, Illinois, and Penn State will all be tough games. Oregon held Michigan to 7 points. I am sure Ohio State's D is better than Oregons.

Oregon held Michigan to 7 points. I am sure Ohio State's D is better than Oregons. Wisconsin is sooo slow...Illinois is an up and coming team in the Big 10 I will give you that, but there not there yet. Penn State is just another perfect matchup for OSU, because no offense really for Penn State, and OSU should be able to do just enough on their side of the ball to score on Penn State...Also the oregon thing is a bad example, because everyone in the country knows Michigan is playing better now than they were..However even Michigan is not the toughest game to show how good OSU is. I just saying that will be their really only test in the regular season, because it is a game that actually is not the best matchup for OSU... I mean yeah those teams you mentioned are some of the top teams IN THE BIG 10..But put those teams in a couple of other conference and those are the lower tier teams this year. I mean all those teams you mentioned that they still have to play probably would be 8th or worst in the SEC. 5th or worst in the Pac 10 or Big East...So yeah its better competition if you look at where those teams are ranked in the Big 10, but those teams really are not the best competition to show how good you really are...

Wisconsin is soooo slow?? PJ Hill has 1,009 rushing yards and 13 TD's but they are slow. Illinois is here. They are a very good team and they will be for years to come. OK? Ohio State beat Northwestern 58-7, Michigan beat them 28-16. Michigan beat 2-6 Eastern Michigan 33-22. Purdue scored 21 points on Michigan. They score 7 on Ohio State. If Ohio State, Michigan, and Illinois were in the SEC in place of Vandy, Miss State and Ole Miss they would not be the worst 3 teams in the SEC. Or in any other confrence. Everyone thinks the SEC is the only confrence in the country, get over it.There not. The Big 10 is a tough confrence to play in this year.

It hasn't been in the last 2 years. Did I say if you put Ohio State in the SEC that they would be one of the 3 worst teams no I did not. I said if you put those remaining teams that Ohio State has to play, that you say are very tough games in the SEC. That those teams would be 8th or worst in the SEC. Yeah those teams are some of the top 5 teams in the Big 10, but as I said put those teams in the SEC, Pac 10 or Big east, and those teams are at best 6 in those conferences... Now if OSU was in the SEC, I dont think they would lose 6 or 7 games like some people have said. Because OSU is good. However in the SEC OSU would have a realistic chance of losing those 6 or 7 games, however they wouldn't lose all of them. I say they would be about a 2 or 3 loss team in the SEC... Also fine put down Michigan like you have. So I guess I should change what I been saying to that OSU will have NO REAL TEST in the regular season then...

Ohio State, Michigan, Illinois, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Indiana are all good teams. Add Michigan State in there too. Illinois and UM would not be below 6th in the PAC 10 or the Big East.

Hmm could that just be because the rest of the teams in the Big 10 just arent that good, and so the likes of Indiana can not play with these guys? If all those teams you mentioned are good teams, then why dont we see anymore of these teams being ranked that high? They are decent teams at best... Also put Illinois and UM in the Pac 10 they would be behind USC, Oregon, Cal, Arizona State, possibly UCLA and I believe I am forgetting someone... Put them in the Big East and they probably behind WVU, S.Florida, UC, Rutgers, and would be toss ups with UL and UCONN..

The PAC 10? USC, Oregon, and Arizona State would be ahead of them record wise. Team wise, UM would be top 4 and Illinois would be close behind. IMO. The Big East? USF and W. VA would be ahead of them team wise. UM would be 3rd and the Illini would be 5th.
October 21, 200718 yr Author If Boeckman doesn't have those two TO's OSU could have scored some more and prob. held a shutout. Most definately. MSU had no answer for the Little Animal and company. The two TO's prevented a shutout.
