October 21, 200718 yr I didn't watch the game, but is UT giving up at the end of games, or are they just poorly conditioned? Seems like it was close til late, and then Bama just exploded, just like the UT/UF game.

October 24, 200718 yr Well, there are alot of things I could say about UT...but they just didn't show up on D at all. Inexperience at D back and top 2 recievers out for most of the game really hurt. Coaching staff did a HORRIBLE job in that game. One instance.....penalty on 1st and 10...backed up 10 yards. 1st and 20...we get 17 yards on two running plays....3rd and three.....then try and pass for the 1st down......just bad play calling there. I mean the VOLS have 4 really good running backs...we should have just stuck with the run and pounded the ball at the TIDE. It worked most of the day. By the time we could have had the game under control with that gameplan, it was too late. And Hardesty didn't even play that game....another travesty. With all freshman and JUCO transfers on your reciever corps, you have a hard time stretching the field. No excuses...Sabans bunch just whooped our butt..plain and simple. Never in my life have I seen a UT team just lay down and die like that one did Sat. Fulmer had a Sunday practice, but until the defense comes around, UT will have a tough time winning. :banana:
