I agree that it is dissapointing that there was not a write up on last night's game. The players deserve more than that, especially the Seniors.

However, in past years someone from the Rams staff always contacted the Independent with the stats and a brief game summary. Seems that what we have here is a "Failure To Communicate".

^ I have not seen a paper this morning but considering that the game was at Raceland................that is bad if there is nothing on it. No excuse for that if no article is there on the game. You could understand if it was at Carslile but not at Raceland.

Folks from the ADI told Coach Helton they were "understaffed" and could not make it to the game.

That must have been because they were all at the Ashland game so they could provide overwhelming coverage of the Tomcats' loss to take up over one-half of the front page of the sports section. I guess it's more newsworthy that Ashland loses and is out of the postseason than a great win by a highly rated local school.:confused:

Let's get the discussion back to Raceland and Nicholas County, not the obvious lack of coverage by the Ashland Daily.

Congrats to the Rams on the victory... It was a great game for the Bluejackets they showed alot of class in not giving up and playing hard till the end of the game.

The game was a regular game between Nicholas and Raceland. I was told that the stats were very close with Raceland having the slight edge. Nicholas was with out their starting q.b. but their backup did a outstanding job. Nicholas is very much improved. they are very strong up front on both sides of the ball and with only 5 sr. the future looks very bright. good luck to both teams in the play-offs:scared::fight:
