Well lets see, they beat #2 Texas at Texas. They beat top 25 Penn State 28-6. They beat top 25 Iowa 38-17. And oh yeah, they beat #2 Michigan. Yeah they played HORRIBLE against Florida, but you cant play perfect every game. Ohio State was BY FAR the best team in the country last year. Florida killed them but Florida was not as good as Ohio State. Every team is due a bad game and that was OSU's last season.

Dude.....Florida was leaps and bounds FASTER than OSU, they got exposed.....Texas was far from #2 by season's end. OSU is great, they deserved to be in the title game last season. But they got exposed defensively against Michigan, and Florida simply knocked them out. They would've had at least 1-2 more losses in last year's SEC. They just didn't have enough TEAM speed. That said, this is why I have reservations about crowing this current team great. I need to see a "quality" win first.

You might want to rethink that statement. There is NO WAY, NO WAY that a team that is "BY FAR the best team in the country" gets beat 41-14 on a neutral field bay anyone--just doesn't happen. They were a good team that played in a mediocre conference and didn't have the speed to play with a top notch SEC team. It would have been the same story if they had played LSU in their bowl game. You're seriously touting a win over Iowa as a great achievement last year? Iowa finished 6-7, Penn State finished 9-4, even Texas lost 3 games. Michigan did finish 10-2 but that was more a product of them playing in the Big 10 then how good they really were. The best team that they beat all year was Notre Dame, and we saw what LSU did to them in their bowl. The Big 10 teams last year were solid, but overrated. Until one of them comes up with a win of any substance this year they will be considered overrated this year too. This year the teams that Ohio State have defeated have a combined record of 23-25. Washington? They are 2-4, there best win is against a Purdue team that has lost 2 games already and has lost to the only decent teams they have played. Ohio State is not even a top 5 team this season.

That's true. They got killed. UF caught OSU on the right night. I didn't say the win against Iowa was a great achievement. Iowa is like a Miss State or Vandy team in the SEC. Not normally. This year, I think UK could beat them in Lexington. Louisville in the 'Ville....I don't know....but any given day, ESPECIALLY this year. OSU is overrated, there is no doubt about that. Bad thing is, they deserve their current ranking. Generally these things work themselves out. It did last year as well, on the last game of the entire football season.

The fact is OSU was in that game. And still have a great chance of being there again this year. Don't see how any one disparages that.
