The bar is not closed to the public, but I think they have a separate room for the FC party, and there is a good chance a few fighters will make an appearance. Also, Mickey's is hosting a party at Jefferson Hall on Friday night. I am pushing for Gameday...although anywhere with the UK/Fla game on would suit me. Today was awesome. Got pictures with Wanderlei Silva, Houston Alexander, Stephan Bonnar, Keith Jardine, and Kenny Florian....all extremely cool dudes. I thought Jardine would be bigger. My wife looked at the picture with me, my buddy,and Jardine and all of the sudden was convinced I could take the dean of mean. He was cool though....he was drinking a lot of Mickey's with his dad but was cool. Florian seems to think the BoSox will still win the pennant so I just let him go and air out his frustrations. No doubt I will be riding home tomorrow night in a cab.

Jason Black by Split Decision, R3 Stephan Bonnar just now defeated Eric Schaffer by referee stoppage (TKO) in the 2nd round.

October 21, 200718 yr FRANKLIN VS SILVA UPDATES Silva looks bigger. Franklin looks focused. LET'S GET IT ON!!! ROUND ONE Silva and Franklin exchange some punches. Silva tries to get the clinch (like last fight) and Franklin scrambles out of it. Franklin scores a big take down. He has to be careful, Silva has a great submission game. Franklin is trying to pass and Silva stands up. Franklin is still trying to take Silva down and now they are pressed up against the cage. Silva is trying to get the clinch again. They're back in the middle and Silva landed a spinning back kick to Franklin's stomach. Rich lands a good combo and Silva lands a body kick. Silva has Franklin pressed against the cage and landed some big shots. Good fight so far. One minute remaining in the round and Franklin has Silva pressed up against the cage. Silva tried a takedown and failed but then landed a knee in the clinch. Back in the middle of the cage Franklin lands some punches and a body kick. They're exchanging punches now, and Franklin landed a good right hand, Silva ducked some punches and landed a spinning back fist and then got a flying knee. Silva dropped franklin at the end of the round and it was NEARLY OVER.....Wow. He got saved by the bell!!!
October 21, 200718 yr I think Silva won round one. I thought it at first and his near KO of Franklin at the end of the round sealed round one for Silva. My scoring for round 1 = 10-9 Silva. ROUND TWO Franklin lands a good leg kick to open up round 2. Silva looks confident. Franklin trying to land some shots. Franklin is eating some shots again...he's in trouble. Wow Silva won again. The ref stopped it again. WOW. Silva is still the middleweight champion.
