Golf ruling question.

Great point for Professor. Is that local ruling going to address tire tracks left in the bunker from carts that wander off the cart path.

I have played the course all summer and as far as I have seen cart tracks have not been a problem in these bunkers. But I agree, that situation needs to be addressed, and I'm sure it will be.

It may not be much of a problem, but at the worst time believe that it will come out.

You're right. As a matter of fact, I believe it will be on the agenda of the next BOD meeting. We don't want any issues that we can avoid in advance in tournaments sponsored by our club. It will be taken care of. We opened in May, and our new course is a work in progress.

I've heard nothing but great things about it. I'm hoping my "Booneville Buddy" will invite me down sometime to play. Prof., you know who I'm talking about. Tell him I'm waiting for my invitation!!!

Who did you say your pro was?

Eric Mason will be the pro. He recently played his 36 holes for his PAT (I think that's what it's called) at EKU's Arlington Golf Course. He had to shoot no worse than 10 over par on the 144 (36 holes) course. He shot a 3 under 141. Now he has to pay his registration fees, buy a Level 1 kit to study, do a Level 1 checkpoint, followed by a Level 2 checkpoint, and a Level 3. He will be studying in Florida with some of these checkpoints. I don't know what all of these mean, but he was explaining it to me yesterday. Sounds complicated.

Bell40, have you completed all your PGA work? I know the last time I talked to you that was what you wanted to do.

I am just getting started. It will take a while to get through it all. The quickest anyone has ever gotten through all 3 levels is 18 months. On average it takes 3 or 4 years to complete all 3 levels. Hard to get much done during the season, but I expect to make some good progress this winter.

I would play foot wedge.:sssh:

hand wedge for me

Actually, any where near the path, and I could see some club damage.
