September 24, 200718 yr It is usuallly when you stop looking that the perfect person steps into the picture. It has happened to many people that we know, and, even though we were young...it happened to PH and I as well. It seems when you are disgusted and want to stay single the rest of your life...poof, your future is looking at you in the eye!!!! Good luck and don't be bitter (even though I understand why you might be...not saying you are, but, you have every reason to be...but hey, you got all of us, isnt that better!!!!) All joking aside for a minute, this is exactly how it happened for Mrs. Oldrambler and myself about 22 years ago. Both of us were sick of being burned and playing all the games and were not looking for anything lasting or serious at all.................................................................................. Our 21st wedding anniversary was this past May.:thumb:
January 20, 200818 yr So yesterday, I go to my 2nd wedding in 2 weeks which is always fun considering all the junk I've endured at the hands of the opposite sex over the last month. Well it came time for the dreaded garder toss. Now I've probably gone to 25 weddings in my adult life, every time I've had a g/f. However at this one I'm stag, so I'm dragged out on the floor by the bride and I've got my drink in one hand and my other hand is in my pocket, probably 30 guys out there and I think, "no way would I ever attempt to catch this thing." So i look down and start to take a sip of my beverage when i feel something hit me in the face and land in my drink, yup God thought it would funny I suppose:irked: So for the first time ever, I caught a garder at a wedding :lol: How did I miss this?
