Tim Phillips finished with 101 yards on 18 carries. He scored on a 40 yard run and a 14 yard pass.

 

Stein finished with 18 for 23 passing for 233 yards and three touchdowns.

Looks like the Trinity offense had a good night. What hapened to Rick Miller, did he graduate last year?

Trinity owned the trash talking non-disclipine Eagles. When will some teams learn that trash talking just does not work!! The Rocks offense ran basic stuff all night. O-line needs to get on the same page. That will be corrected this week. Defense did a great job containing Ferguson. This was a nice warmup for St.X's non throwing but running QB, Ben Zoeller. Let's take care of business next Friday. BEAT ST.X !!!

Topper, I was at field level on Friday, not sure which team did more trash talking, do know that Trinity received TWO personnel foul penalties. If I'm Beatty this would concern me, Especially Robey's.( Don't know why he kicked an Eastern kick while the kid was on the ground?) Mistakes like that could lead to unwanted results and attention.

Secondly, noticed that T's field didn't look so great. Pieces of turf were unglued and their were shavings of fake grass all over the player's shoes. What's up with that?
