St. X 21 DuPont Manual 14

Featured Replies

Let's play nice boys and/or girls. It's just a high school football game, no need to get fiesty.

Again, good job to both teams for a game that sounded pretty thrilling. And again, I hope I can actually see both teams in action against each other in the playoffs.

Manual Fans read the sign at the zoo and don't feed the Tigers. Don't give them any reason to talk smack, they beat us and we will see them again.

St. X is one of the two top teams in the State, just like they have been for the last 20+ years, it was a good game and they did what they had to too win, there are no excuses.

Great effort Rams! Tigers have some things to work on this week!

JMHO - But I don't think the final score was indicative of the actual game. If it wasn't for two playsthe score would have been 21 to 0, instead of 31 to 14. The first was when the Tiger defensive Blitzed Right and Smith slipped thru his right side off tackle, away from the Blitz, for a big gain to set up the Rams first TD. The second was the bad snap by X's long snapper. X gave Manual the ball on their own 1 yard line. That wasn't anything the Rams did themselves. That was a gift from the Tigers special teams. X won the game of field position right from the opening kick off. Again JMO

Way to go Tigers! Way to get a big win on the road! On to the Rocks!
