I was sitting in the Baltimore airport waiting on a delayed flight as this game was being played. My brother in law kept me updated via cell phone. Sounded like it was an ugly, messy game. Glad the Ads pulled it out.

I just watched the game on the local cable access channel. I'll say this. Danville was VERY VERY fortunate(lucky) to have won this game.

 

I say it every week, but boy does that field look great.

 

Observation: GRC got the ball with 3 minutes left in the game on their own 20 and didn't throw a single pass in that final drive. Time ran out on them during their final running play!! Wow.

The field was in awesome condition. Danville is such a great place, and a great team. I hope GRC schedules them for a long term series!

I dropped my baby off at the sitter this morning and even she said "Danville was so lucky that the other team ran the clock out on themselves..." That pretty much sums it up.

Not saying anything about Danville's defense what so ever. They played a great game! (They won......hard to say anything about that...........)

Another very costly mistake was the snap over the punter's head in the 4th quarter. I think GRC beat Danville between the 20's all night. It was their execution in the red zone that cost them the game. They were inside the red zone all night, but continuously turned it over or failed to execute.
