I believe Mt Sterling's Court Days event is in October.

What is it?

What is it?

It's like a big ole huge Flea Market. People set up stands, and sell anything and everything. They also have some good eats.

What is it?

From the website about Mt. Sterling Court Days -

October Court Day at Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, is a mad melee of people and livestock gathered together for purposes of doing business. That business may range from the purchase of a coon dog to a winter's supply of sorghum molasses; from trading guns, knives or horses to just milling elbow to elbow with the thousands of curious sightseers who come to Mt. Sterling to see what Court Day is all about.

Fine use of adjectives.

Oct. 12 - 15 - Bring you gun and ammo and trade it on the street while 10,000 people roam around... Insanity in Mount Sterling.

Fine use of adjectives.

The best way I could describe it. :D

So do you go to people watch or participate, Pat?

I've only been to the one in Flemingsburg. It's a great place to get some funnel cake and hunt for stalls that sell basketball cards. Or maybe a marshmallow gun...

I don't think you see any coon dog or horse selling anymore.

I haven't seen any in the years I've gone.

Someone spotted Michael Vick there last year rounding up some of those coon dogs...:D

Funnel Cake at Court days vs. Bourbon at the Bourbon festival. Tough decision...
