August 30, 200719 yr I do have to give it up to Kobe in the TOA's. I have been critical of him in the past, but he really has impressed me. For the team to be really successful, one of the "stars" had to suck it up and decide they were going to D up the best player and play team ball. Kobe did that, as he had to know he was the best defensive player of the bunch anyway. Plus, Kobe can always turn on the O if they need it. It's tougher for LeBron and Melo to turn on the D. Kudos to Kobe.
