What I like about this team is that they play solid 'D'. Kobe goes at it from start to finish on the defensive end...

And you were just dissin Kobe. :fight:

That's because I don't like him..:D

The one thing I really like about Kobe is that he wants to be there representing the US. A lot of the bigger named players haven't wanted to take the time out of the offseason to play, and it's part of the reason for the lack of success recently IMO. Glad to see guys like Kobe, LeBron, DWade, etc. leading by example.

Is it just me or is Kobe a completely different player on the US team than he in on the Lakers?

I've seen it too. I think he realizes he doesn't have to try to do it all with these guys, and realizes the honor it would be to win.

Look at the teammates. He doesn't have to do much offensively for them to win.

He is also going through a divorce right now maybe he is using this to get away from everything.

But he didn't with Shaq either and still played selfishly, IMO.

After all that, NOW she's divorcing him?

True, but then it was only him and Shaq, now he's got Melo, LeBron, DWade, Amare, Howard, etc....

He still had to do a lot more on with Shaq than he does for this team. Really all he does is shut down their best player on D. He really doesn't look to get anyone on the offensive end. I don't think he was that selfish with shaq.

I'm pretty sure every player on the US team is a different player right now than they are in the season. It has to do with having the BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD on the same team.

Yep.

Thanks, I was unaware... :p

Seriously, I guess I'm just shocked. I thought Kobe would try to lead the team in scoring so he could say he was the best player on the team with the best players in the world. He's surprised me and I thought I'd give him props since I'm usually all over him...
