May as well get this one going. Probably will be the last time these old Foes match up ever. Winner gets Eternal Bragging Rights. Elevates the Cats with a win, Deflates the 'Skins with a loss????? Rigt now, with the game being at Cumberland, the emotion being with the 'Skins and questions to be answered with LC's D, edge goes to CHS.

What does everyone think????

Coach Mitchell motivates the defense this week in practice. LC by 7!:fire:

I like what Jon Reynolds has done at C-land. Lynn Camp is going to have to show me they can play defense, offense should be fine.

Cumberland definitely has the size and speed advantage but it's hard to judge them against Knott Central. I'd say the Skins will win this but Lynn Camp may put up some points. Roskopf will be hard for any team to stop but I don't know if the Cats have the depth and line play to handle the Redskins.

I still think Cumberland is a team to watch in that side of 1A.

Redskins in a close one. They will have to take a big koph-drop though! Sorry, terrible pun. Skins very tough especially at home.

I dont know much about these teams. What do they have and what has been there previous records in the last couple years? I know Lynn Camp comes up to Northern Kentucky in a couple weeks so what are they looking like this year. What class are they.

Class A.

Coming to Dayton in a couple of weeks.

They had a down year last year (3 wins) and a 9 win season the year before.

They have Roskoph #31 who was the leading rusher in the state last regular season and #2 overall last season.

Line is young but big and somewhat mobile.

Sydney Wagner #21 is a very good Junior back.

Play a lot of run and smash mouth style of ball.

Don't know anything at all about Dayton. Can you fill me in?

This may be Cumberland's year. They played a lot of young skill people last year. They also looked big at the panarama. I think Roskopf and Wagner give them the advantage in speed in the backfield but Cumberland's overall team speed and size may be to much for Lynn Camp to overcome. Cumberland's ability to thow the ball and the Camper's inability to defend the pass will be the differance.

For now, I'm buying the Cumberland hype.

Cumberland has 3 or 4 good running backs with speed, most notably 2 sophomores (Nathaniel Gilliam, legitimate 4.5 speed and Lance Simmons, great quicknes and speed and is a Tremendous receiver also) that will give LC fits. Gilliam, their top returning back didnt even play against Knott and their starting qb the last 2 years (Zach Blanton) didnt play last Friday either and they still did whatever they wanted against I know a weak team. Cumberland's line is also the very strong and athletic, if the Skins have everyone available they could break out tonight and show what they are capable of.
