Being the typical cautious type that doesn't have enough info on all the teams to have a top 10 yet ( I know I'm a party pooper), I won't post my top 10. But I will say to those folks that dropped Ryle down a bunch from the top, in my opinion Ryle is a very, very good football team. I've watched the Highlands Ryle tape a couple of times over the weekend and I'm more impressed with the Raiders than I was right after the game. That's a very good football team. The didn't match up against Highlands well due to Highlands speed and athleticism, but I doubt they'll have to contend with that from any other N. Ky team. Admittedly, I've not seen all the other 6A teams, but it will take a very quick team to beat the Raiders, and I'm not sure there are any other teams in N. Ky with Highlands speed and quickness. Don't try to go toe to toe with them. At this point, they probably still belong in the top 5 maybe the top 3.

 

Does Ryle play Beechwood? I hope so as it would be one really fun game to watch.

Ryle does not play Beechwood. I do agree with your comments about the Ryle-Highlands game. IMO, every other NKY team would have been overmatched and beaten just as bad, probably worse, last Friday. There will be some very nice battles between the Camels, Raiders, Red Colonels and Raiders even though the Dixie games do not take on the added significance of the past. Here's hoping that the Birds knock off TM.

Defensively Ryle couldn't stop HHS, but offensively they pretty much only stopped themselves. It would have been a lot closer without the turnovers IMO. The ineptitude of the Raider offense put too much pressure pressure on their defense.

Sorry LN - but this is how I sees it. Camels had a huge come-from-behind win over Tatescreek merits a #2 in my book. I think Ryle will climb the charts and so will Dixie, for that matter. For now - HHS #1 and HC up and rising!
