Cool. I will post the article and if you want sned me the names I need to include.

I hope to get a preview that has them in it but so far that has not happened.

Don't feel too bad, I live here and haven't seen a roster yet. The App. News Express' local coverage has went way downhill since Tom Kopacz left, the Willaimson Daily News is usually the equivalent of getting on the AP News' website and cut, copy, pasting an article.... the News-Express published a PCB Preview but it was only available to subscribers. I do believe that of all publications, the Pikeville Medical leader, a weekly FREE mail-out, was the only oen that ahd rosters published in it.

I was suppose to get a copy of the Pikeville Medical leader but my Belfry friend I did not see each other on Saturday.

Belfry tangled with a very aggressive Corbin squad on Friday night with the Pirates coming out on top by the count of, 21-0. The Pirates got a big hit by Will Southerland on the Redhounds quarterback, Clint Cashen with 10:33 left in the opening period. The Pirates defense would force a punt soon after to set the offense up.

The Pirates offense used a forty-yard run by Phillip Hickman with 9:50 showing on the clock to get things started. Just seventeen seconds later Ivan Lee scored from twenty-two-yards out putting the Pirates up, 6-0. Glen Earnest connected on the point after increasing the lead to, 7-0.

The defense for Corbin came up with a fumble recovery by number 56 with 7:22 left giving his offense another chance to get things going. But it would be the Pirates defense who would stand tall, first Ivan Lee for the Pirates batted down a Cashen pass and then number 26 sacked Cashen.

With 1:09 left in the quarter the Pirates once again put the ball on the ground and coming up with it for Corbin was number 42. Cashen would connect with number 20 for a long gain with just 53.5 second left in a very quick opening quarter.

Corbin had a very nice play with 11:46 left in the half when Cashen hooked up with number two for a seventeen-yard gain. But the Pirates defense stood tall after that shutting down the visitors and getting the ball back to its offense.

The Pirates offense hit pay dirt again when Dustin May went sixty-yards for a score and then the point after kick was good by Glen Earnest making the score Beflry 14 Corbin 0.

May for Belfry showed he is a multi talented player when he stopped number 42 of Corbin for a short loss. Then with 4:09 left in the half Belfry recovered a fumble at their fourteen-yard line to end any hopes of a Corbin score in the first half.

There were two plays that stuck out in the third quarter. The first was with 9:14 left when Phillip Hickman of Belfry was wide opened due to blown coverage but he dropped the pass that was right in his hands. The other played was a Belfry fumble by Hickman that Corbin recovered with 2:44 left in the quarter.

Mr. May would cap of a good night for himself and his team when he scored from a yard out giving his team a 20-0 lead. The point after by strong footed kicker Glen Earnest made the score 21-0.

The last big play of the contest happened with 5:50 left in the game when Andrew Elkins of Belfry picked of a Corbin pass.
