I disagree....I think the Bengals Monday Night opener will be a much bigger draw than UFC.

 

 

The thing about a Bengals game is fans are mainly in or around Cincinnati. The UFC has fans all over the world. I'm sure the Bengals can hold more people in their stadium but I'm not sure that there will be more viewers on TV...I could be way off though.

I saw a Neilsen stat from last year that said 80% of the TV's in the Cincinnati Market, which is about 2.5 Million people, or roughly 4 Million TV's were tuned into the Bengals game against the Ravens.

I'm sure that's the case, especially since PBS holds a much larger crowd. However, for the avid UFC fan, Rich Franklin fighting for the middleweight title in his hometown is huge. It's as big a deal to us as the Bengals playing on Monday Night Football. To each their own.

I don't think that anyone is trying to argue that. NFL, in general, is a much bigger draw.

The first 5-8 rows the the 200 level would be very good. I have sat in US Bank Arena probably 100 times. And from what I told it's just like Freedom Hall. Unless you are at the very top of the 200's yo will be fine. But you could even see from up there. They also have a nice jumbo tron.

What kinds seats can you get for 200 bucks? I would kick myself if I missed this event, because with Rich fighting for the title here in Cincy the atmosphere is going to be insane! For those comparing it to the Bengals monday night game, the atmosphere will be at least equal to that if not better. For UFC fans in this area this is huge.

That's pushing it. I was at the first MNF game at PBS and it was electric. The fans CLEARLY suppory Rich, but a ton of my fellow Cincy people don't even know who he is.
