Ok BGP'ers now Is you chance to get involved and help us (The Staff of BGP) pick the games for the Eastern Kentucky Regional Pick 'Em Contest in week #1.

Only those games that are played on Friday, August 24th OR Saturday, August 25th will be considered.

Here is a link to the KHSAA's schedule.

All suggestions will be taken seriously and the more input by you, the fans, will give us more of a chance to make this an extremely competitive contest each and every week.

If you could, please post the games in this thread ASAP because I would like to get the contest up by the morning of Monday, August 20th at the latest.

Thank you from myself anf the rest of the Contest Moderators here at BluegrassPreps!!!

I like those, lets also throw in:

Bell County vs. Lincoln County

Southwestern vs. Rockcastle County

I was looking over the games a couple of days ago and I think there are anywhere from 10-15 different games that can be used....this is just personal opinion.

I will take EVERY suggestion into deep consideration and base my Week #1 contest on whats suggested added into my own personal thoughts as well.

Also, please feel free to suggests more/different games after you have watched some scrimmages this weekend and then read what others say about the scrimmages they watched.

Those are good matchups, but everyone knows about them rather well. I think that you also need those games that aren't the one's everyone is talking about, but still promise to be great matchups. I see these three as being ones that piqued my interest:

Jenkins-Allen Central (who knows from year to year)

Phelps-East Ridge (both have new head coaches)

Powell Co.-Jackson Co. (young program and new coach)

I like the Middlesboro/Whitley County game.

Powell Co. vs. Jackson Co.

Pike Central vs. Shelby Valley

"Throw" in Pulaski vs. Somerset as well. Should be a good one.

ttt

Lawrence County vs Coal Grove OH

Harlan vs. Cawood (Big rival. Last time this game will be played)
