In a few months we are going to get the exclusive special on the maid who once changed a room at the Motel 6 that Bonds may or may not have stayed in. Her vision was poor and she wasn't sure it was him. But in an exclusive interview with ESPN she is going to talk about what it was like to clean up his room. :lol:
August 10, 200719 yr Still haven't watched the clips of #756. I guess that speaks to my interest level and thoughts of him surpassing Hank. Hedo. *sigh* I only watch ESPN for Erin Andrews sightings. I also like watching Sage Steele on First Take but usually mute the TV.

August 10, 200719 yr Soooo ... any of you guys ever been to Cooperstown, since that's such a hot topic of conversation recently? My brother and a couple of friends did a road trip there in 1994. The town is rather quaint with several baseball-themed shops in the village. The items on display were amazing. One of the very first baseballs from the 1800s, old uniforms worn by Ruth, Cobb, Gehrig, etc. Bats and baseballs. They had bad uniforms on display too such as the White Sox shorts, the all-red Phillies road unis and the bananna yellow ones worn by the Padres. Old pictures and the like. They had a few interactive displays also. It's kind of a cross between a museum, an art gallery, and a large aquarium with no fish. I highly recommend the trip for the baseball fan. I also think it was like $12 to get in.
