August 21, 200719 yr Author I'm proud of my son , he killed his 1st 4 with his new pistol yesterday hunting with his papaw. Tryed last year with the pistol and struck out. LB :thumb: :thumb: Great news, lets try and keep our kids in the woods to continue the hunting lifestyle and tradition. I'll bet his Pa Paw was just as thrilled or more so that the boy :thumb: .

August 30, 200719 yr I have seen black squirrels,seems like they are in the north I was in New York when I seen them for the first time. Never seen them around Ky but have herd there are a few around. I've been up to Northern Michigan and that's really the only color squirrels I remember seeing.
August 31, 200719 yr A couple years back, when my class went on our senior trip to Washington D.C. I seen 3 or 4 white squirrels and a black squirrel. One guy said they escaped from the Baltimore zoo in the 70's and made their way over. My teacher also said there's a lot of them around Corbin??
