I agree. I just hope we dont end up having to play another 13th region team. We'll see enough of those during the season and post season.

The last couple years Corbin's schedule has been very typical of other 13th region teams. Other than South Laurel they haven't played any of the state's powers. I don't think you would include Adair Co or Shelby Valley as state powers. Its not been a bad schedule, just nothing real special. It would be nice to see them schedule a hand full of games against teams like Madison Central, Henry Clay, Bryan Station, etc.

Since Corbin and Lexington Christian have began playing each other in football, maybe they will play each other in basketball too. I believe it would be a very competitive game as both teams are well coached and both have very good talent.

I agree...time to start playing the big boys on a regular basis again! Coach P knows all about playing the best teams as he did it many times back in the day!

I believe Corbin and Cumberland are head and shoulders above everyone else at this point, but a whole lot can change between now and March. I think Corbin's nice run last year has given them so momentum, returning with a young team again this season.

This season, look for the Hounds to play in the "Nissan on Nicholasville Tournament" that will be held at Lexington Catholic, the Holiday "Hoopin it up" tournament at South Laurel, Bank of Corbin Classic at Corbin, and its own "Cumberland Falls Invitational". There will be many Lexington area teams as well as out of State Teams participating in these tournaments. These tournament games will no doubt make the Hounds better in March, win lose or draw.
