I was surprised North was ranked as low as they were .. very talented squad.

The way that Western has already playing in this preseason...splitting in passing league with Trinity, and beating pretty much everyone else, and now beating Mercer in there first Scrimmage. I look for the Warrior to win 10+ games for the third straight season and possibly make a state championship run.

Two things "scared" us on Western, they lost their top two backs and they are moving up two classes. However, they are on our radar.

Last year was a great season, in the backfield at Western between the Collins, Norman and Dardin there was over 5500 yards of rushing was produced.

got a list of names for ya though.

Ken McElroy

Marquis Buckner

Tyrell Wethers

Tameron Holt

Delandre Woods

D.High

Everykid on that list will play college football from Western, and will be the reason Western beats both Valley and Fairdale to win another district, as for moving up in class. Last years team had 40 players, this years has 80.

Will you go as far as to say that this year's Western will be better than last year's?

In my estimation Western was probably in the 4th to 7th best team range in 2A last year, now they are playing against much larger schools, mainly 3A teams which was a superior class to 2A last year.

It always was ...

It always was ...

I have never disagreed with that, it was those who were boisterous that 1A was that I disagreed with....
