Somehow it is not as good as I thought that it would be BUT...............I still enjoy it. I like any stories like this format on the Yankees and on baseball in general.

Just got finished watching the final in the TBIB series. Was a great show, I started out thinking that it wasn't as good as I thought that it would be but each shopw got bettr and better. I really enjoyed it.

I honestly don't remember if that was used much or not.

I did not miss an episode. I absolutley loved it. The guy playing Thurmon Munson was identical to the real guy.

I watched every episode as well, I thought that all of the actors did a fine job in portraying the person...........Stienbrenner, Munson, Martin, Jackson. this was a very good mini series. I really enjoyed it.

Worse part of the whole miniseries was the Yankees still won the series.

They said it on broadcasts let alone around the neighborhood.

 

Back when you played games in your yard for the neighborhood game, if you hit it OUT of the yard, it was a HR. Thus, "went yard."

We were just talking about how authentic we thought the show was. At least it seemed that way to us. Then we heard, "He's gone yard on every pitch" and we were wondering if that was a term used in the 70's...
