Kingfish Stevens
Good news and a good hire for Bath County. Coach Hicks has taken a step up. A good program can be built in Owingsville. That will likely never happen at Greenup County where cheerleading is king (or is it queen?).

The_Generals_Soldier
Greenup had a solid program for years in the 80's and 90's. Yes, Jay GC did have a solid program and I think I know why. As a matter of a fact anyone from the 16th Region knows the reason, but that ship has sailed. I just don't think GC will reach that level again, but good luck to Coach Leach he seems like a nice guy. KHSB1
Once Jim Bob finds out about Harrison he will not take the Bath offer.

If you mean to imply that Bath is a step up over Greenup, you are sadly mistaken IMO. Bath County's lack of tradition when compared to GC's shows a huge discrepancy between the two schools with Greenup leading the way.

I think it was awful taking the team from Hicks in the middle of the season. It should have been done after the season, in all fairness to the kids. I think just about any school, any size, anywhere, may be a step up from Greenup Co.
