League Announcement

 

I have been informed by the producer of the software that I have been using for the last nine years to run this league and others, that this will be the last year they will be producing the software. They are merging with an online site and will not be producing the stand alone version.

 

I have been purchasing the software myself because it makes running a league very easy. I have the option of running all my leagues on this site for the same price as the software, but having to pay $70 per league next year. My thought is that we can try it this year and if we like it, then each will pay $4.37 for the hosting, or $4.66 and the defending champion gets to play for free.

 

Thoughts?

 

 

PS - I have not mentioned the name of the site because I am not sure of the BGP rules on this.

I would pay this amount for what we get with this league. I think the league champion should play for free the following year.

This is no problem, I might even pick up the tab for my punching bag rivals the green snakes.

I know what site you are talking about. Are you going to set up a Paypal account for everyone to pay? I'm not sure how or if it is possible or not but if you could that would be the best way for everyone to pay.

That's a possibility, hadn't thought of that. I'll explore that next spring, but I was just thinking that everyone could send me a check.

Godot, I forgot to put in my other post that you can count me in.

I'll pay, its a great league, I would have paid from the start.

No ouch here, I want to talk to Godot about BGP maybe paying the tow for this league in the future.
