I doubt it will this year, because the older players are kind of established, but no doubt a few younger kids will have to make the choice down the road. I'm sure in time both programs will level out, but I could see a short term drop in the soccer talent, or lack of progress for the football team. Growth should help with this, and it should give some more kids an opportuntiy to participate in a high school sport!! I could also see a few more BBHS feeder kids "staying home" to play football, and the soccer team continuing their trend of fine play in the future.

 

Finally I'm glad to see this one put to bed, and the Mustangs' players and their fans having a "place to call home", at least for a while!! Thanks to the Highlands, Newport and Thomas More programs for their cooperation and hospitality; its great to see the spirit of neighbors at its finest, putting aside petty differences to arrive at a solution!! Best of luck to all these teams moving into the 2007 season!!

Student population is around 400, and don't worry; they'll be fine facility-wise. They can handle another 50-60 students classroom-wise, despite their small class sizes; but have a multi-phase building plan in place. Now that all the diocesian lawsuits are settled, look for some movement on those plans soon!!
