Per Bengals.com,

First enrolled at Georgia in 2001 and was redshirted, but attended Georgia Military College in ’02, after his dismissal from the Georgia program for disciplinary reasons … Reinstated to Georgia for 2003.

He did get in trouble in college in a domestic dispute with a pregnant female. No charges were ever filed but he was suspended briefly from the team.

No wonder I couldn't recall what the issue in college was. The Bengals should just cut bait here and move on.

Didn't he have an issue in college? Was it grades or something else?

 

He got in a bar fight, was thrown out of Georgia his freshman year and sent to Georgia Military before being subsequently reinstated at Georgia. He was suspended for the first few games of his senior season for an undisclosed incident. The Bengals knew going into the draft that he was trouble and that's why he fell to 2nd round.

Don't know that it qualifies as a "history" of violence, but he is certainly no stranger to it either. He is a punk and a thug and exactly the type of person the Bengals need to divest themselves of. Makes what happened to David Pollack all the more of a shame, as he is a high character individual.
