I'll tell ya what Boone County's field is a little small.....It can't be 300 to straight away center. There should be alot of homers hit on that field this summer.:scared:

If you click on a age bracket ,click on a team ,over to the left there are options .Scedule /results ( I think ) will give you the games the team has played ,if updated by the coach .

Went there.... no info on the Royals. Anyone have the current record of the Royals?

Does anyone know what time the Royals play Sunday, at the Lincoln Lee Complex?

Just a question so don't anyone get all upset, but I am wondering why so many of the summer league teams don't have the players name on the backs of their Tee shirts. Yes I understand the cost factor, but it really can't be that much more, and it would make it much more enjoyable for fans to know who the players are. Didn't realize that both Stein and Larkin were playing on the Royals until I saw Larkin making a throw to first from his knees after diving and stopping a sure base hit, then I realized who it was at second, as I have seen him make that play time after time.....over the course of his HS career

I agree as well. By also having names on their backs, it helps College Scouts identify players and allow them to accurately keep track of their play.

Update on the Royals...

They have struggled of late losing 4 in row before beating the Cincinnati Styx up in Loveland last night 6-5. Zach Rawlings(Highlands) gets the win going 5 solid innings, with a bunch of strike outs. Joe Renda (Soph-Ryle) goes 1 2/3 innings, giving up no hits, and Ryan Shields (Highlands) finishes up. Conner Larkin (Cov Cath) scored twice and Travis Hurd (Campbell County) and Jacob Robinson (Simon Kenton) came up big with two out run scoring hits.

Not trying to make excuses, but it's been a difficult summer so far for these boys due to not having the whole team together for about half of the games. They have been very competitive when playing all together making it to the semi-finals of the SWOL Tournament and losing to a talented Columbus Sharks team 9-6 in a 9 inning game where they were winning 6-5 through 7 innings. A couple of bad pitches up in the strike zone late in the game cost them this one. Main issues have been some players getting ill and pitchers with sore arms.

I think they will be a very interesting team to watch for the rest of the summer as I have seen them play some real good ball at times.

Royals are 2-0 in the Great Midwest Classic in Cincinnati. They have beaten two very good teams. Friday they beat the Cincinnati Sharks behind a complete game win by Travis Hurd. Saturday they beat the Chicago White Sox behind another complete game by another Camel Luke Bray. The White Sox won this tournament last year. The Royals look very good when eveyone is there.

Fair of foul- They actually beat the FCA team (good team who upset the Colonels in the SWOL tournament in 9 innings) from Cincinnati and the Chicago team (was told they had many Div 1 signees on the team) to go 2-0. I understand the opening game against the Sharks was postponed because of rain.

Today the Royals run rule the Cincinnati Cardinals 18-0 this morning (everybody plays and hits galore) at the Great Midwest Classic but lost in the afternoon game 8-3 (with lots of controversy) to Cincinnati Sharks and do not advance to the final. The Sharks will play a team from Akron, that won of the other pool, in the final.

Great tournament for the Royals... they are definitely showing when everyone is playing like they can that they can play within anyone.

The game tonight at Panel Barn has been rescheduled for tomorrow night at 6:30p
