Interesting that Lew's/Kareem's ONLY NBA titles came when he had one of the top 3 guards off all time on his team. And yet, he was doing the carrying? As for Duncan's team not facing a dominant team like the Bulls, where the teams that the Bulls beat any better than the teams that the Spurs have beaten for the title? Robertson won a title late in his career when he was not the man on his team was my point. Michael Jordan won 6 titles and was no doubt the man on every team. They beat the Lakers led by Magic, Portland led by Drexler, The Suns led by Barkley, the Sonics led by Kemp and Payton in their prime, and twice beat the Jazz led by Stockton and Malone. I dont understand anyone saying Jordan is not the best player of all time.

June 6, 200719 yr Duncan is better than Kobe, no doubt about it, unless you are just looking for an egotistical "me" first player, then Kobe has Duncan beat hands down.
