How did Raceland do in their 7 on 7 against my boys from Louisa??

Looked a little rough, I thought but it is still early.

I know this is a Raceland thread and I wish them the best of luck because I have a lot of friends down that way but how did Lawrence look?

I did not see it but the way I understood it they looked pretty good, their QB was very impressive.

The more that I think about it, this thread is about the possibility of Raceland changing its offensive philosophy. I do not think the philosophy will change, the offensive philosophy of Raceland is to put more points on the board then the other team. I believe that that will remain the offensive philosophy of Raceland.

Now, the question would obviously be will Raceland change the way in which they do the above. The accurate answer would be an unequivocal, maybe.

I think a good coach and a good offense, will and is adjustable to the situation that a team is in, as well to the personnel that a team has. The reason that Raceland passed 75 times a game the last three years is that Raceland had a great QB, quality WR, and a solid OL - that was the personnel Raceland had. This year Raceland has a capable QB, unproven WR, and inexperienced OL, with two quality RB's. I don't think the offense will change, but the focus of the offense may.

Raceland is probably goin to lose one of there seniors. Jarrod Smith a OL and DL starter to a broken foot injury. He broke it last season and rebroke it in team camp. But im sure they will have someone just as good fill in and help the "RAMS" this season

I hope that J. Smith can be o.k. and recover from the injury. Prayers going up for him. If anyone can keep us updated please do so.

I hate to hear that about Smith. He could have played a major role on both sides of the ball. I wish him a speedy and complete recovery.

Injuries are a part of the game and like you stated someone will have to step up and I am sure the coaching staff is already at work to find out who wants to play.

Best of luck to Jarrod, stay positive and work hard in the classroom.

^ I too hope that he recovers fast and completely. I also hope that someone steps up quickly and is ready to play.

Smith, will be back by the fairview maybe even the LCA game its hard to say they thaught it was bad but its not near as worse as they thaugh
