Nevermind Harrison won the 38th and Mason won the 39th, Nicholos was the runner up in the 38th and St. Pats was in the 39th. If the tourney was seeded i Believe it would look like this.

 

1) GRC

8) Nicholos

4) Mason

5) Scott (Scott is better than Mason IMO, but the district champ would be ranked Higher.)

3) Harrison

6) Montgomery

2) Brossart

7) St. Pats

I agree that Harrison should be seeded higher than Brossart. Doesn't mean anything though either way.

When Bob gets a regional Championship like Coach Allison has then you can say that.

And you base this statement on what accomplishments? Coach Allison does a fine job at GRC and no one is better come Tournament time than Coach Whitaker at Harrison County.

Both coaches are great coaches and Bob Rowe would be honored to be mentioned in the same breath as them. He does do a very good job coaching a small school in Alexandria too.

Bob Rowe is the better coach! That is why GRC will get beat by the Mustangs!!!

I agree that anyone can win in any given night. Are you suggesting that the Harrison faithful don't respect all the players, teams and coaches in our region? I think it will be another great tournament.

No, not at all. Sorry if I came across that way. I recieved so many PM from many fans of other teams in our region when the Cards won the 10th this year in basketball. I really appreciated it too....just goes to show that our region pull for each other. One or two like to stir the pot, but nothing like the 16th region...

I really think if you look at the schedule at that point and time you would see that maybe Coach Allison thought he needed a couple of losses to bring the cards back down to earth after all they had won 19 straight, or one could argue that you may have to face Brossart in the regional tourn. at sometime or another. As far as Bob Rowe He should definitely be put in the classiness of Coach Allison and Coach Whitaker.

I am not disrespecting Coach Rowe. I am stating that Coach Allison has won regional titles. I didn't start the conversation by saying Coach Rowe was a better coach it was one of the Brossart faithful. I do believe this is a forum that is open to anyone unless the rules have changed so I have the right to express my opinion as well as anyone on here. Thank you very much. Even the results of next weeks region won't make any of these gentleman a better coach than the other. Allison and Whitaker each have numerous regional titles and Coach Rowe doesnt. That doesn't necessarily mean he isn't as good of a coach, just that he hasn't won one.

This regional tournament is filled with good coaches who take the extra time at practice to work on fundamentals and teach the the game, also make some of the right moves during the game. That is why they are here and everybody else is not!!!!

Playing in a weak district doesn't hurt either..........
