May 22, 200719 yr I don't understand the timing of the piece. I agree with some of the things said, but as has been said in this thread already. This was news months ago, time to move on regardless of who was at fault. Maybe next week he will do an article on whether or not Sprewell is a quality guy after "choking" PJ.

I love how the media and anti-UK people now freely admit the program is at a low point, but still refuse to pin that fact on Tubby. And he more than likely left because his answer to "hire competent assistants" was going to be to hire Saul. Now Saul may turn out to be the best coach in the world, but when people have been begging you to hire new guys for years, hiring your son isn't going to cut it. He knew that wouldn't fly at UK.
