Christmas tourney

Featured Replies

As FBD said, they have 5 coming back. Scott Brown, Taylor Jones, David Henson, Josh Davis and Aaron Jones are seniors this coming year. Add in Jared Carlton and Zac Jones and don't forget about Trent Maddox.

Most of the underclassmen scored all-tournament honors in one tournament or another last year.

Should be a good Wildcat squad this year coming back.

Sounds like 2 good young teams. Boone had 2 freshman and a soph start varsity last year and 2 other frosh see varsity action, as well as a good set of sophs coming back. They will also have 4 seniors, 3 of which could see significant action. The JV team finished 2nd in NKY last year, with 3 freshmen starting/playing a lot of minutes. Boone's McFarland will be one of the top players in the 9th this season, and Earls will be one of the better big men. Popp/Gabbard are the top guards in the 2010 class in NKY class and should do well at the varsity level this year. Boone also has some young lights out three-point shooters coming up, such as Flannery.

Raceland returns 2 starters in Tyler Boyles and Jacob Sparks and the top 3 reserves in Cody Barker, Peyton Martin and Jeff Tolliver. I would really like to know who the other teams will be

Does Gallatin return the 6'2" ish guy with "hops"? I don't know his name but I believe he was hurt down the stretch and didn't play much in the SK game.

How sure are you?

You can't tell from a summer game and the game yesterday was by far the worst Boone has played all summer. They came out very flat.

Most of the kids they played last year on the inside were 6'2" ish. The one with the best hops was JR Davis and he graduated.

Coach Jones and staff have built a very respectable program up at Gallatin. This senior class is the one they have been waiting on. Very good record as 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.

He may be talking about David Henson too. He does return for his senior season.

So no one knows who is in the tourney besides Boone, Raceland, and Gallatin?

Exactly.....Gallatin were missing starters and just played Bryan Station. If thats all ya got, I can't see that team blowing out gallatin

And Gallatin came out hoppin? Just played a top team in the state close and built a COMANDING 15 pt lead on BC right before half. But you hit right on the head we figured there would be excuses flying today.

I'll leave it at "you can't tell from a summer game" because Boone developes out of sets and they are just trying to get movement out of the offense right now without any set plays. Gallatin is a solid team, but in the season wants Boone is used to playing with each other. I dont see them winning by less than 15 to them.

FBD, need to keep the personal jabs to the pm's.

Holmes is going to this tourney.

Black hair, muscular frame, I believe he may have been 22 or 32. During warmups he was by far the best leaper on the team.

Davis had by far the best hops and I think his number was 22.
