Springsteen#1 Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Does anybody know who is going to be in Lloyds tournament this December?
buttels Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Where is Galatin co. from? What region? Gallatin County is in the 31st District and the 8th Region. They are south of Florence/Union on US 42. They share the 31st district with Carroll County, Henry County and Owen County. They have been scheduled to play Lloyd the past couple of years, but the games get cancelled.
Springsteen#1 Posted May 30, 2007 Author Posted May 30, 2007 Thanks buttels, what class are they in football? I also heard Raceland will be in the tourney
buttels Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 They are in Class 1A District 1-4 They are a second year program
buttels Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 I have an e-mail out to their A.D. to get all the names.
teammomaholic Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 blowout Blowout? Have you ever seen Gallatin play? Look at Gallatin's schedule from last year. If Gallatin cant beat Boone then they will atleast play with them.
buttels Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Have to agree. Would Boone have beaten Shelby last year??? Should be a good game if it happens.
wildcatfan Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Have to agree. Would Boone have beaten Shelby last year??? Should be a good game if it happens. Boone finished 18-12 last year. They will be better this year and even better the two following years with their great frosh and solid soph classes moving up. How many does Gallatin have coming back? I know they lost Edmunson. IMHO, I did not think they have many strong J.V. players last year when I saw them play.

I personally think it would be a very competitive game. Gallatin loses 5 Seniors from a 10 man rotation. All of wich started at some point last year.

Scott Brown, Taylor Jones, David Henson, Josh Davis and Aaron Jones are seniors this coming year. Add in Jared Carlton and Zac Jones and don't forget about Trent Maddox. Most of the underclassmen scored all-tournament honors in one tournament or another last year. Should be a good Wildcat squad this year coming back.
