The only way this scum of the earth and their acts of cowardness can be prevented is what I said in the first place, enforce laws that are already in place, put them in prison with NO chance of paroll or rehab and USE the death penalty on extreme cases along with rape, child abuse - molestation, as well as mass murders. Imo if these were enforced you would see a lot quicker drop in crime rates than "more gun laws". If these pieces of trash know that they are not going to slip through the legal system by a shyster lawyer and weak judge then they woud think much more than twice before they act. Imo this country is "morally bankrupt" and the courts and lawmakers are helping it. Why not require that a gun-safety practical and written test be required before issuing a permit? Maybe if we made it just a little more difficult for the wackadoos to get guns...... Not to mention....maybe it would help reduce the numbers of accidental shootings and such.

If you saw what the last one did to the gun industry you would understand, I saw it first hand and it was an attack on an industry like I've never seen before. Gun bans are a bad thing, just ask those in many other countries who no longer have a right to protect their home and family. It's a giant snowball effect.

Well, Doc Holiday, I'm not against guns, nor for a ban. I AM for requiring proof that one knows how to use one safely. I realize that won't stop crime nor keep people from acquiring guns illegaly. I really don't understand it isn't crystal clear that gun safety should be required for "normal" people to reduce the risk of accidents and mishandling.
