Raceland went to Boyd County on Senior night and beat Boyd County 6 to 4.Justin Moore Started for Boyd and Matt Phillips pitched the whole game for the RAMS.

Great win for the Rams!! :flame: Good confidence builder going into the district! Looks like the lineup changes/shake up has worked. The Rams are playing very well right now :ylsuper: :ylsuper: and a win over the 16th region favorite proves it.

This was a game of uglies. Both teams struggled badly in this game. I know that a win is a win, but I'm sure neither coach wanted to see a game like this right before district play is to begin.

Errors, baserunning mistakes, and not hitting the baseball did the Lions in tonight...

I honestly dont think either team played their best game last night. I think each team had around 5 errors. But regardless of how things were going the Rams played hard and stuck it out for a hard fought win. The lineup changes have really helped the rams out defensively. Matt Phillips did a fine job on the mound for Raceland. Congrats rams and keep working hard!

Here is the difference between this years Boyd County team and the teams the last couple years. Raceland committed around 5 errors and still manages to pull out a win. In years past, making 4 or 5 errors would have got you a 10-0 loss in 5 innings at Boyd County.
