Hypothetical for ya.....A player is at the other end of the floor....He gets slammed head first to the ground by an opponent (kinda like a hockey check). You don't think his teammates have the right to go and defend him?

Not trying to be a homer but remember when Kobe tried to appeal during the season which he was in NYC right by the commish's office and he won't hear the appeal and that was on a judgment call.
