How does the amount of money they make determine the entertainment value you or I get out of a game??? These leagues all overlap anyway so their is always something going to entertain. I just think the arguement they made for adding another game so fans won't miss out on a home game in their season ticket packages is weak. Just as easy to reduce the number of games by one and achieve the same balance. And if they do want to add a game, why would they want the Super Bowl to compete with the Daytona 500?

There will NEVER be a situation where half of the teams get 7 home games and the other half get 8. No chance. Ever. 2. The Super Bowl would demolish Daytona in TV ratings. There is no need for the NFL to even consider guys making left turns as a reason to not move the game back. 3. It's ONE more week. No big deal in any way, shape or form. May 10, 200719 yr 1. By moving to 15 games, you give EVERY team 7 home games + 7 away games + one game abroad (the same balance they are talking about achieving by adding one game). 2. They share many of the same fans and while the Super Bowl would win the ratings battle as it were, I would expect a slight drop which would effect the money advertisers are willing to pay for a spot. Plus, since they share many fans, how much would having both events on the same day further depress ad money? 3. If it replaces a preseson game that's fine as long as they start games Labor Day weekend.

May 10, 200719 yr I like the idea. Can't see them dropping the bye week (especially with increased travel) so starting Labor Day weekend would be great. Plus I don't think they need to be stupid about this thing by winging all over the globe. Send multiple teams to England, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan at first in different cities.

I don't want to be up all hours of the night to catch a Bengals game, and I surely don't want to watch the tape delay the following day.

That would work.
