I like that pick a lot but I am hoping they go secondary in the first round or O-Line.

I've been out of the loop with the Giants... what are their plans at HB? And for the draft.. I heard they need a lineman.

They need a lineman, but after Thomas and Brown there aren't really any there worth taking at #20. Staley is more of a project at LT and they already have a project for that position. I'd say the Giants will either take a LB (Beason, Timmons, Willis, Poluszny) a CB (Hall, Revis, Ross, Houston) or POSSIBLY a WR (Bowe, Jarrett, Meachem). They could also trade down, if they feel they could get what they want later, and still pick up extra picks. I wouldn't be surprised with any of those situations.

Why not? Have you seen him play? He's a monster. Nobody's an every down back till they get the chance. BTW, I guess you didn't notice they traded for Reuben Droughns from Cleveland, to help carry the load.

No as i've said i've been out of the loop with the Giants.. you are the main source of info. Droughns will help... but he's not a long term answer I don't think. I just don't see Jacobs having the endurance to carry it 25+ plus times a game for 16 weeks. But after Peterson and Lynch... there isn't much is there?

Not to mention he's 6'4" 260 lbs, and faster than most LB's and probably some DB's. Droughns isn't there to be the long term answer. He's there to back up Jacobs. Jacobs is the long term answer. Well we will see. That's a bold prediction. I don't see him having the speed/endurance/quickness to do it for 16 weeks. He is designed for a the "Thunder and Lightening back field." He is the "Thunder but who is the Lightening?" I can't see him being both but its to be seen.

I heard on ESPN that Joe Thomas was pulling his name out of the draft, anyone heard anything about that. And Leon Hall is projected to go in the top 10, no way the Bengals will be able to draft him, and Peterson will not go that low.

Joe Thomas is not attending the draft, he'll be fishing. I'm intrigued by the movement of Michael Turner from SD, I have a feeling it's either GB or Tennessee wanting the Charger backup.

He already signed with SD and they want a 1st and 3rd pick for him. Thats a whole lot for a backup RB.

He is a backup because he is on the same team with the best running back in the league. He is an amazing player and is a top 10 back in the league in my mind. I think the Chargers will trade him for just a first round pick. If they don't they could very well lose him all together next year and get nothing for him. With there being very few running backs that are avaliable, I think there are alot of teams what want him and a deal will get done.
