I was just correcting his impression, I wasn't saying that because I was on a motorcycle and not a bicycle that I was invincible.

Is this list complete of Pitino recruits that have been run off/or left on their own?

2005

1. Bryan Harvey

2. Chad Millard

3. Jonathan Huffman

2004

1. Brian Johnson

2. Lorrenzo Wade

2003

1. Nate Daniels

2. Nouha Diakite

3. Perrin Johnson (now back)

2002

1. Prileau Davis

I think it was more "Style of Play" than anything....Delk is an athlete and loves to play a full court running game, which Pitino plays....He should fit in well....

That would make sense then.

Is this supposed to be a knock on Pitino?

Haha that would be nothing compared to Tubby's list!!

Lets see, this is just off the top of my head...

Michael Bradley, Rashad Carruth, Jason Parker, Desmond Allison, Shagari, Rekalin Simms, Adam Williams, Todd Tackett, Adam Chiles, Ryan Hogan, Marvin Stone, nate Knight (?), Bernard Cote... Anyone else???

Thats 13...

1) That's over 10 years compared to 4 or 5 for Pitino.

2) Parker, Allison, Carruth, and Chiles all had off court issues that contributed to their departures.

3) Bradley was a Pitino recruit.

Delk should do well for Pitino. The curse of the "Pitino" at UL continues. I wish them well in all but one game...guess which one.

Is this supposed to be a knock on Pitino?

No. We were discussing this at work today how some coaches seem to have players leave more often than others. Most of the time it's in the best interest of the school and the player. Rick's rate is pretty high though.

Dont forget Shagari..He had some classroom issues....

I see what you mean. Personally I think it's a good thing the majority of the time.
